the standard colour is orange, has anyone changed this to purple or blue, if so how have you done it and where did u get the bulbs from? ive tryed several places in melb and no 1 has blue globes to replace them directly and if they do they are some stupid price, can any1 help me?
cheers
blue leds are around 5 each then u need to buy resistors for them, they are directional so u get the blue light then it fades around the edges, im not reeally after that, the trip comp and climate look good, how did u get the led to fit into the holder that is previously there 4 the bulb? why didnt u finish the rest of the cluster?
the best way is to use LED's, globes just wont be bright enough. i changed mine to red, all i did was solder the resistor on to the LED and then soldered it into the bulb holder, easy. id recommend 2 leds per bulb holder, one wasnt bright enough.

are you talking to me or Jason(Dellboy)? i only used one but should have used 2 in each bulbholder. i can take a pic of what the bulb holder looks like with the LED in it if you want.
