I am thinking about buying an EB Falcon, preferabbly an S pack or Fairmont, but I have found that they are not the easiest cars to come across in the under $5000 price range. So i am starting to consider buying a standard EB, but I don't like the simple 3 gauge dash, so I was wondering how hard it would be to change the standard dash to an S pack dash??

My mate bought a EB Series II Fairmont for $3100 (had $3500 on ) it. Included ABS, Cruise Control etc. Body is in excellent condition considering it's age (few VERY minor scratches on the rims). Tires are all good, about 230,000 on the clock, runs like a dream. Only thing that needs doing is new shockies. Only repair he's had is a reverse switch or something on his gearbox (4 speed auto), which cost him $120 or so. Interior is pretty much perfect. Looks like new

Definately can be had for around that price, just have to look. Good luck on the search.

Thanks for your help people, a lot easier than I had expected. I guess now i just have to look around and hopefully I will find myself a nice fairmont in my price range...

That mod seriously takes 30 seconds after the screws are undone.
Just unplug one then plug in the other.
I did this on my ED. I was stunned at how simple it was.
