EB fairmont clock

is there any way to get the date updated on my eb1 fairmont
it doesn't go past 1999 so i have it set to 1985 to get the right date setting
was this car designed to be thrown away in the year 2000

Re: EB fairmont clock

Yes you have to set your EB back to the 80's. And who said Ford don't use out dated components????

I think the year is 1982, could be 1985..

There is no update for the clock

Re: EB fairmont clock

I just recently installed my trip computer in my EA and i had to set my clock back to 1986 to get the correct dates. This might help.

Re: EB fairmont clock

They thought the old EB's would stop running when the millennium bug :fly: clock struck 12, but they was wrong!!

for 2003 set the clock to 1986 then on Jan 1 2004 set it to 1998 until Mar 1 then go to 1999. 2005 set it to 1994. If you still have it in 2006 set it to 1989.
Do you need dates following this???
Cheers - Eric
