Tried every known window cleaner possible including thinners to clean mineral deposits from all windows, finally spoke to a Tint Installer who put me onto Estelle Stainless cleaner , buy it from Supermarket , make it into a paste wet chux and apply , brought the windows up a treat , getting a JMM DEV 1 installed during next few weeks will get the DYNO report and post it as well as an independant DYNO, see if there is much difference.
well i wish i had have known that when i had the AU. i had serious mineral deposits on all the windows and couldnt get then off. even steel wool wouldnt move them.
should make this into a sticky so everone knows.

I tried so many different products and nothing worked, apparently there is a product that is used on high rise buildings but is very expensive, I spoke to a guy at Novus screens who said they had developed there own product but wont sell it and want $160 to do all the windows , I think a lapping compound would also work, tried toothe paste but not abrasive enough. Anyone with any stubbin interior stains try Sard Wonder Soap, great for cleaning vinyl door trims.
Yeah, I was going to suggest a very light cuting / polishing compond.
That CLR stuff (used for showers / baths etc) may help remove calcium.
Tried CLR, Brasso, Liquid Magnet , nail polish remover , the deposits have to be removed by something abrasive with elbow grease , dont know why but Ajax didnt work , so maybe the Stainless Cleaner has some secret herbs and spices.
what do you mean by mineral deposits? I bought a brand new drivers window for my XE from Novus, Since i have had the windows tinted it has this discoloration through the whole thing. Initally i thought it was just the adhesive for the tint but it hasnt dried. Is this a mineral deposit? or are you refering to Bore water staining?

It looks like water marks on the windows after the car has been washed and not shamied off, when you try to remove it wont budge, sounds like it is on the inside of the windows , Id take it to another window tinter and get some advise before you doing else or spend $s
I've got this on the windows of my EB. I will try the things mentioned here because I had almost convinced myself there was no way it was going to come off and replacement windows was the only way to cure it
