I just ordered two sets of 'white' globes. What I am wondering is, what is the specs I should be looking for? 55w or 60w? All I know is these numbers, and one set is H4, the other H7. Means nothing to me. Are the high beams different to the normal lights? Or is it just the parkers and something else? What have I ordered?! LOL!
Cheers.

no the H4 is 55/60w LOL. you can also get 55/100w and 80/100w if you really want to blind people. the H4 has 2 filaments in it, one goes on in low beam mode the other in high Beam mode. thats why H4 have 3 wires from them and the H1/H3/H7 have 2.

I've never tried the high wattage ones, but the headlight lenses fade over time even with normal bulbs so I don't like the idea.
not to mention the fact that youll fry your head light switch if you dont run a relay for the extra power.(probably should have mentioned that before) someone told me that EB/ED Ghias and Spacs ran 55/100w H4's but i dont know if its true. it was at a wreckers so probably not.

Your better off staying away from High wattage globes, go for the Extra power globes such as Plus 30/50, or the Philips globes.
I have the Philips ones they are a 55 watt that put out 110 watts of light, they are awsome in the XR lights.
They are $60 for the pair but, worth it.
