ED Sprint steering wheel reconditioning?

The leather over my stock wheel on my sprint is looking quite sunburned and the black shiny paint has all but worn off around the top of the wheel probably from a combo of sun and use.

Just wondering if the finish could be restored somehow without recovering the wheel in new leather? Anyone have any ideas/places to go in bris?

Ring Roman Autotech in Sydney.
Wont be cheap, but they are the MOMO Importers, and they do very good work.

Re: ED Sprint steering wheel reconditioning?

I was thinking of doing that (need to buy some stuff first). Just wondering if it will be a waste of money, although i haven't looked at a price for a bottle, cant imagine its too exxy. The leather is actualy rough on the top of the wheel and i wonder whether conditioner would smooth it out. Oh well, one way to find out i guess.............off to supercheap!

Sounds like its to far gone for Leather conditioner.
I use Saddle soap on mine every few months, just to help get the grime and crub out of the leather, then dress it.
