EF Fairmont Custom Interior

Gday Everyone

I'm about to have a custom interior installed in my ride including doors, parcel shelf and boot.

Would the std fairmont front seats be up to the task or could anyone recommend a superior alternative?

Also does anyone know of additional spots to put the leather that would look good?

cheers, Jordo

Re: EF Fairmont Custom Interior

Or even Leather Ghia seats, they are very similar to the Xr seats, as the EF/L XR seats didnt have the Metal in the bolstering, it was just Padding.

You dont say..... is this metal something that an upholsterer can do or a specific part for the seat?

Re: EF Fairmont Custom Interior

The matel bars are actually part of the seat frame.
A good trimmer should be able to do somthing with it, but if they retrim it with a high density foam it should last alot longer than the Factory EF/L bolsters.

Re: EF Fairmont Custom Interior

I think youd have to look at getting the complete door trim re-done, or just talk to the trimmer.

Re: EF Fairmont Custom Interior

to get the door cloth trim off is easy. remove the whole door trim. on the back you will see a bunch of big staple like clips undo these and it will fall off
