Is it at all possible to clean the inside of my dirty EF Falcon Headlights? I've asked around and the word is I need to get the revised EF headlights that don't go all murky inside. New Oak Ford have told me it'll cost $500 with trade-in for a pair! So, can I clean them or do I need new headlights? And does $500 sound about right?
Cheers, Matt

threres a place called headlight doctor and they actaully rip the lights appart and clean them had them done to mine bout 14motnhs ago and its ust starting to go yellow again., cant remember how much but it was alot cheaper then buying them new
If you are talking about the yellow/faded/crappy look they get it is on the outside not inside. You can clean it up pretty easy. I sanded mine back with some fine sand paper, then used some cut and polish on the surface and it came up perfect. Just tape up the bonnet and bumper with a couple of layers of duct tape first. It is really easy, costs about 20 bucks, and takes about an hour.
They sound like good alternatives! But I'm convinced my gunk and muck is on the inside, and I kinda don't want to be sanding my headlights back, although it might be effective.
