Just bought an EF last night. Its been resprayed in bright green, body kit, EL motor and box, all new suspension/front end had about $7500 spent on it 3 year ago. Only $2000. It got stolen and had the 17s taken off it, and a few dents. They also kept the key for it when they took it.
My question is: How do I get the old ignition barrel out so I can put a new one in?

Undo the shear bolts that hold the barrel to the column with a hammer & chisel & install a complete new assy. If you choose to do this you will have to leave the ignition on for half an hour to code the lock to the car.

I had to drill out one then i used a die grinder to remove what was left. Then i just pushed in the new lock.
