ef seats into eb - Ford Forums

i have read about the mod's required to swap the seats but can anyone teel me if you can just change the runners from the eb seats onto the ef seat?

whilst this has nothing to do with actualy installing ef seats,
but i was wondering for those that have and are looking at doing it, is there any reason why ford would mount the seat belt tensioner higher in the ef-el compared to its position in ea-eb-ed i was just thinking maybe it had something to do with better suiting the higher seating position of the ef-el seats/ safety!

The ef/el had a pressed bracket that was welded into the ea-ed floor pan for the seat mounts. If you got a Spot weld drill and got that bracket from a wrecked car and welded it into your car youd have a certifiable modification.
