EL Alternator warning light problem

I got a 97 EL Futura, when the ignition is turned on, the alternator/ battery warning light does not come on, all other warning lights are ok. I have replaced the globe in the cluster but still no good. What could be the problem?

Fixed the problem today. It was the Rectifier inside the alternator. No problem now.
