my dads car blows hot no matter what you set the temp to and sometimes blows cold(irrespective of the temp adjustment)

i read somewhere about a reset (my dad did it but it came up with an error E2)

wtf ??
any hints / tips?

E2 is a blend door servo malfunction. Check if the blend door motor is disconnected, movement is obstructed or for a wiring fault

oh the blend door is easy fixed, pull out the dash and replace it .... lol , E2 is Evil

not much from a self serve wreckers...dont go to ford, thats all i can say. I changed mine recently as i was a victim of the E2 code as well. however when i did mine i just pulled the dash out and not the whole heater box too, took twice as long to change the motor but i didnt have to get my A/C re gassed.

sometimes if you keep doing the self test, the fault code will go away. i have had e2 appear before, and after 2 or 3 self tests. one after the other, it clears. worth a try b4 u pull the dash.
