I have the car in the topic and the window goes all the way down fine, comes up fine at full speed but gets to half way and grinds to a halt. Pull it up manually about an inch or 2 then it goes up fine again. Is this a frigged motor (i.e. $200) or just needs some greese?

try some silicone spray first, it generally frees it up nicely, also just try cleaning out the guides.
just sounds like its worn and the window isnt going up as straight as it should, the silicone spray fixes that (did for me)

Silicon spray or graphite power applied down the sides of the window should free it up, but this wont fix the problem in the longer term.

You need to take the door skin off and tighten the brackets that aer fixed to the bottom of the window and move it up and down, they work loose.

dont keep persiting in letting people hold the buttons down while it jams up either (smack em in the side of the head). as this is why falcon regs are popular for failing so regularly..
