Hi All,

Im looking for a few parts for my car from a EL ghia;

Chrome door handles,
Leather bound gearknob with chrome button
and the woodgrain inserts for the door trims
EL chrome front Grill

Any idea where to start looking ?
Ive already got a quote off Ford and a 1700 its a bit to high

The EF ghia also has these parts, with exception to the Chrome Ring around the grill.

Macarthur parts narellan 46461288 are wrecking an ef fairmont ghia.

Smalls Wrecking are wrecking an NF Fairlane, but unfortunately most of the interior stuff has been sold.

The door lamps fitted to the EL Ghia's, and NF Fairlanes can be bought from Ford for about $17.00 each, and include bulbs and some wiring.

As for the wood inserts on the doors, I think that you will find that wreckers will not sell them without the door trims, as they are fixed on to the trims with things that look like plastic rivets, once removed, these break, and can not be used again.
(Although Ford may sell them as a replacement item, dunno what the cost would be though)

Also the wood and chrome plastic bit that surrounds the Auto Transmission can be bought from Ford, but unfortunately it costs > $400 :crazy1:

Chrome door handles should set you back about $50 each (I think), from Ford, and has been done by a number of people here, including EF_Falcon_Guy.

If there is anything else that your are interested in, let me know, as I am currently converting my EF Ghia interior in to NF Fairlane (with the exception of leather, Including instrument cluster), and a friend is adding NF Fairlane trims, seats, power windows, trip computer and other stuff to his EF Falcon.
