hey guyz! i got a probwith the drivers side window having a hard time closing ! got any suggestions ??

PS i tried the talc powder trick but it didn't last long...

Pull door trim off and have a good look at rubbers down window track.

Do you have factory speakers???
After market speakers are a big problem if they are a fraction deeper

Hi XLR8,

Just after I brought mine (EF) I had the same thing happen, the dealer used a silicon based lubricant in the channels and that freed them up. I can't remember what it was but it was available through Ford spares.

thanks guys ! by the way i got factory speakers ,so i think i,ll try the lubricant idea first before i go ripping the trim off.

hi guys use armourall in the channels that works but you must soak them first it dose make a bit of a mess but just clean it up

The silicon based spray is one of the best options. Over time Armoural will work to dry and hasten rubber perishing.

I had same probs and dealer gave me a can of Fortron Silicon Lube. To stop some of the mess, get a straw to help aim down the channel. Only needs squirt every couple of months and a few runs up/down.

Dealer suggested also to use the silicon around door seals especially across the lower section.
