im sure its been done before by people who have put EL interiors in there car but im wondering what is needed and what modifications have to be done to get it to fit, also what wiring needs to be changed to make the cruise buttons work on the different wheel. im asking this because i want to put one of those AU woodgrain wheels in my car but i need the different coloumn for the different wheel. i also heard that something else needs to be modified to fit the AU wheel onto the EL coloumn, is this true??

So are we saying that the EB, ED, EF, AU steering wheels are interchangeable? Is it only the cruise controls that need slight modifications. Would intereting to know as my EB steering wheel (cruise control) is starting to fall to bits.
