[Escort GTi 98 Model] Interior heater fan has stopped blowing!

Hello All,

I'm not that mechannically minded as a lot of you here so please be gentle with me :)

My car has been standing for about 2 months pending a new clutch. I started her up to drive it to the garrage and noticed that my blower wasnt working. There was no fan noise at all but i know the switch is working. I know this because the AC is connected to the same switch (turn for fan speed, press for AC to be switched on) and the AC will only come on when the switch is showing the fan is activated. In addition to this, the switch is pretty new!

So is there anything I can check? Fuse in the normal fuse box is ok. I've read that there may be a resistor that could have generated a fault but i have no information on my specific model of car.

Any ideas?

Lee
