Hi just wondering what interior will fit the XE not worried about dash but the rest and the steering coloum if ayeone has pics etc or if anyone got any info on it.

Door trims XD to XF will fit straight on as will front and rear seats. Can also fit the front buckets of any Ford XR-XF. All this stuff just bolts in. If you can get hold of an XF Fairmont Ghia interior, they look really good (IMHO), and are easy to fit.

If you are willing to do a bit more work, anything else seat wise can be used, but will require custom mounts/brackets and probably engineering approval over there. Same for steering columns, you can also get custom billet ones made up, or adapt just about anything but check with your rego engineers first!

Thanx for the info was gonna car a whole car XF fairmont ghia and transplant everything including the front of the car only got the XE because it was cirted for a V8, as for the steeringcoloum u cant just chance the levers can ya thats the only part i dislike

change the shrouds, the steering hub and wheel and combo switch.. ignition and the bare column are the same.. but the combo switch does have different wiring harness's however is easier to leave it as it is, put a sports wheel on it

If you want to run the full electronic GHIA dash, the investigation i have done so far appears, that the heater box can be modified to suit.
What ya need to do is run the XF Dash side with the XE Firewall side, and XE heater box and Air Con Evaporator.

Keep in mind these are my observations with a view to the same conversion....the XF heater box will definately not bolt straight in.

Another idea if you want a real flash dash would be to look at XG or XH utes. Just a thought.
