I have LED's in my door handles that come on when the doors or internal lights are turned on.

I had to splice into the wire that switches the lights on when the doors are open, and also found a constant power source from the central locking...

you cant go wrong there.

I've done them in my Futura, basically you just need enough cable to reach the footwells, and the bulbs and bulb holders. the bulb holders are brown and they are the same ones used in the high mount rear stoplight, as well as in the gear selector.

just wire it in to the wiring that controls the rear lights (its behind the stereo/ashtray/console), and you're set.

yeah would be a fair bit brighter with white LED's. if you go through with it let me know as id be interested to see what kind of effect a different kind/colour of light has.

Whats the legalities in having these on all the time? Like when you are driving?

Cos I reckon some nice blue ones or whatever would be good at low light cos I often look down for something when I have um pulled over to a safe spot.

I don't think it would be too annoying whilst driving and wouldn't be hard to do.

if you do it like a factory install they only come on when the doors open or when you put your interior lights on, so no worries with legalities.

unsure, but i have heard of heaps of people putting neons up under there that are on while driving..
perhaps if they're not visable from outside its ok? i'd wanna check.
isnt it illegal to drive along with ur interior light on?
