does anyone know if an EF XR8 fuel pump would fit into an EA. also what pressure to these run at would it be suitable for my multipoint conversion i will be doing???

Yes on both counts.

The pump will bolt in (as such) as long as its from a sedan. The fuel pressure regulator is what keeps things in check.

so how many kpa do these thing run at?? the same as EB/ED XR6??

it doesnt matter as long as its not a CFI pump. The XR6's didnt use a different pump to the normal MPI engines - only a different higher pressure regulator. The MPI pumps will do up to 800psi if you blocked of the return line. I doubt theyed last very long though.

thanks for clarifying that up for me. where abouts is the fuel regulator in the car and what does it look like?

The reg is bolted to the end of the fuel rail you will buy (hopefully) If you are able to connect the return line to the fuel rail then the reg is there.
