i was trying to put in a stereo the other day and one of the hot wires touched and blew the lights, i talked to the shop and they said it might be the fusable link wire. does anyone know how easy it is to fix?????

Check the fuse box.

Some model falcs had the fusable link going from the positive battery terminal to the wiring harness with a large connector on the end. The fusable link has two wires going into a two way connector.
