I am concidering the process of compleatly removing ALL components of my interior and reinstalling new dash, door skins, seats, pilars, carpet - the whole lot, and was wondering if anyone had any advice/experience in the process. eg, what seats are good and will fit, easier wats to remove carpet, replace the roof vinal with velour etc.

(y do this, i have shite brown colour interior and want to replace with the standard grey, + some more sound deadning)

Easiest way is to get the interior from a wrecked XF Fairmont Ghia. Will all bolt in although the interior B-pillar covering will have to be sourced from a ute. Door trims, seats and flash dash will all bolt in. Just be advised that swapping the dashes over is a pig of a job!

Oh yeah, make sure the seats are in REALLY good nick, as you cannot get the material any more to reupholster them. Had a spraycan leak onto my front passenger seat (DOH!) and had to get it reupholstered using material from a rear seat.
