Hi all,
I am having a minor problem with the old girl. When I have the headlights on and flick on the left blinker, the headlights switch off. Is a short causing this or is the blinker/horn/hi-beam stick on the fritz?

maybe a short maybe an earth problem. cant reall say for certain.

I found the problem. On the wiper/blinker switch, there was a snapped wire, the one connected to the headlight switch. Re soldered the wire to the right spot and woila, she's sweet. Thanks for the advice though, davway.

I bet it's the wiper/blinker switch, a broken wire, the one connected to the headlight switch.........ooops - never mind
