I had the heater in my xf fixed yesterday. New core, worked a treat. This morning the heater is stuck on demist. No heat on the floor or out of thevents, no matter what position the selector is in. Whats wrong?

sounds like a vacumn hose has become disconnected someplace..

have a look in the engine bay...there should be a black hose from the firewall going to a vacumn outlet off the inlet manifold..

they pulled out the dash to replace the heater core? if they did a vacumn hose might have not been put back on 100% or fallen off...

Thank you for your response. I just checked under the bonnet and guess what....The black pipe was disconnected. I hooked it back on and away it went.
