HELP: damn dash conector

Putting the EF dash in the EA ive found a conector from the drivers side of the dash loom with a white conector that has 20pins. I cant find/see where it goes. When i turn the key to on, i can get the smartlock light to turn off, and the cluster will light up when i turn the lights on, but there is no display of odometer. Any ideas?

Im going to set this thing on fire!!

Im assuming the conector that i have no where to put is reasonably important, as everything else is plugged in and when i turn the key to on, there is no fuel pump etc.

Is it that?
if it is then its just the ECU output, but surely its not that simple :)

Re: HELP: damn dash conector

Found out what the problem was!

One of the looms wasnt screwed into its conector properly, that solved the dash question.

Then it didnt start, worked out that it was because im using a new barrel+key, and the BEM had to learn the new smartlock codes, a quick 30min learining session, and it now turns over, but doesnt run.

Im assuming its down to either an ignition or fuel problem as the engine turns over nicly but doesnt start.
