ive been working on fibreglassing my boot because rust has formed where the tyre is and i found that the rust was getting in through a leak at my driver side tail light any ideas on how to fix it if none then silicone is going in tomorrow!
the car was hit on the bumper before i got it i dont know how hard but judging by the bumper it looks like it got hit at 20km/h i know these cars are very strong as my friends ea is written of and the bumper had nearly no damage but the whole car was pushed together so the rear doors could not be open any way he still drives it but i wat to know how that damn water is getting in i have it all covered with plastic for the night because i just done the fibre glass

undo the 10 0r 8mm nuts on the inisde where the tail light is held,after removing trim , check out black gasket foam , its probly arr ,,,rooted
then the slicon glue will do, but windscreen clauking compound is better spread around the area where the tail light housing touches the the body , and here presto ,, but if the plastic moulded tail light its self is got a crack or come apart at the seam , all you can to is try and try again with plastic bonding glue ,,then again if your unluky enough to be anything like me the glue will go every where and make a big mess wose than ever be for and then a second hand tail light is the go....

some one hit my car yesterday so i filled it out with silicone and it seems ok
