Ah that clip, yes its one of those push me pull me things that feels impossible to get right, if you wind the window all the way down you can see more to work it out, by going around to the outside of the car, I cant remember how I got my friends EF one apart ages and ages ago, the EA one just unclipped really easy in my car.

The trim is off, but the freeken wires wont unclip. Ive attacked it with a screw driver a few times now... might just have to dye my trim while its in the car
There doesnt seem to be a clip like every other button in the dash.
See what happens 2morrow.

Re: HELP needed asap; removing elect. mirror thing..

Well the WS manual isn't much help here's what it says:

1. Remove interior trim panel to access rear of mirror assembly.

2. Disconnect electrical connector from mirror assembly.

3. Remove mirror retaining screws and remove mirror assembly.

That's it.

(Could it be one of those connectors with the tabs on the side that you push in/pull out is it?)

Re: HELP needed asap; removing elect. mirror thing..

Dunno about the EF but in my EB there's enough slack on the wires to pull them out of the door and use pliers...
