I've got an ED with El EECV, hooked up my trip com today (ED one)
all work but i need to know which pin out on the ecu I need to make the fuel usage work it pin 34 on ED ecu but thats for climate control on the EL. Any help? please

Not so simple....
The EA-ED Trip comp has discrete inputs with speed sender, fuel sender and fuel rate signal (fuel rate signal is the green/yellow wire from the EECIV to the EA-ED tripcomp).

The EF/EL has one data wire from the EECV which codes all of that info.

The two systems are totally incompatible and you will not get the EA-ED tripcomp working with the EECV directly.

If you hear of someone who has worked out how to do it let me know.

TBH: (the better half) drives an ED XR6 wagon (Mock Dev 4 160rwkw, JMM extractors, 4 electric windows, Ghia door panels in XR trim, rear head & arm rests in XR trim, Momo s/wheel with Cruise, EL thermos, EBGT wheels, etc) things to come soon = EECV upgrade.

Yeah what he said. Best bet is to either ignore fuel usage function, or somehow fit an EL one in, which will probably involve a lot of fibreglass
