Help with wiring for Trip computer

Well I got myself a trip computer obviously want to install it.

Does anyone have a wiring diagram for it?

Behind the dash piece there is a spare 7pin connector with 6 wires (2 of which go to the same connection)

The clock has 4 wires going to it.

So all up we have 10 connections/11 wires

The trip computer requires 10 connections (it has a 12pin connection but 2 aint used apparently??)

So are all the above wires for the trip computer, if so which wire goes to which pin?

Wire colours are as follows (if its any help)

(Clock)
Purple/White stripe
Green/Yellow stripe
Red/Green stripe
Black

(Spare loom)
Brown x2
Blue/Red stripe
White/black stripe
Green/White stripe
Black

Thanks for any help in advance

Well martin

I can help you out i have the exaxt thing your looking for. I can send it to you when i get home tonight at about 5:30 if thats ok. Its been scanned its the ford installation tells you which wires to connect to where and where to run them for the ea, eb and ed ok. So should work fine.

BTW how much did the trip cost you
i havnt got one yet i need one with the plug it makes it easier to install it insead of using the smaller clock one. Also where did ya get it from.

Well ill send it tonight if u like

Thanks Steve, that would be great!:s5

I bought the Trip Computer (brand new) off a member on this site called 'DOA' for $90 including postage.
He had 2 or 3 of them so it may be worth contacting him if you want one.

Wreckers wanted $70 for a 2nd hand one....

I'll take it if you'll freight it (to Wagga Wagga - I'll pay the freight).
