Hello all,
New member here.

I was doing a little digging under the hood of my car today 1994 Thunderbird with 4.6L and found the High current fuse to my fan had blown. Well, upon further investigation I found the wire had melted through the plastic housing underneath. My question is can i just rewire it to the spot next to it which is not used put a new fuse in and things work fine? Thank you for any insight y'all can offer.

I would at leat try it to save money on a new box. Just check it regularly for hot wires or smoke.

I am going to give it a try this afternoon. I will let ya know how it works out.

Ok I finally had some time today and rewired and moved it over a spot in the fuse box and so far so good. I will check it periodically.
