I have a Ed waggon with electronic ignition and it has just gone dead on me ,I have no spark when I put a plug in one of the plug leads and cranked the engine ..I hooked a test light to the diagnostic tester to read the codes ...it read
52.....52....1....2....6...2.....6 ...code 52 was correct as the power steering connecter was not connected ,as to the other codes i can't find out about them ....any help would be appreciated..

I have had the same problem with my ED's, on one the coil was gone and the other TFI module. If the code you got was 26 that indicates a problem in transmission temp. sensor.

Hi Madaz.
After thinking the problem over for a while ,I thought get the coil tested first and that was the problem .I could only get a Ea coil but that is working fine now ..I think it was indicating code 2 and 6 as there was a interval of 6 seconds between these codes and not 4 seconds as in 26..
as there is no code 2 and 6 I don't know what this mean't, anyway I'm going again and thats the bottom line..

a lesson learnt.
