I have an EA farimont ghia and my left indicator is giving me some hassles.
it clicks at twice the speed of normal, both the rear and front indicator are flashing so there is nothing wrong with the globes.
hazzard lights all flash at normal speed.
I have had this problem before and to fix it all i did pretty much was disconnect the globe, put it back in and that pretty much fixed it. No such luck this time.
Anyone had this problem before?

One thing i have noticed is that everything on the right hand side indicator is newer than the left. like the bulb, and the bit the bulb sits in etc.

Does it have a towbar?
If it does its more than likely the flap over the electrical plug. There will be 2 metal tabs, and if they arnt in contact with the each end plug, it will cause the indicator to flash rapidly. Give them a clean with some sandpaper, and bend them out a little.

that worked. I just cleaned up the contacts and that was it.

i have the same problem, but i dont have a tow bar, replaced all the fuse and checked all the globes, and even replaced the ticker box... LOL... one differene both mine flash fast.. lol.. hazards are ok though
