8psi, mech forums dont seem to be coping well at the moment, so if anyone else has trouble have a look at this instead, its the same thing but from the jaycar site. included with the kits are a pcb (circuit board) and resistors. You have to get LEDs and fittings from a globe seperately. Jaycar Lighting
I doubt you will need resistors to drop the voltage.
Since the LEDs are running in series the 12 Volts will be divided between the X amount of LEDs. IE. if theres 4 LED's then they get 3 volts each :)
I wonder how good they would be for interior lights and stuff, since they produce very directional light. I've heard of people getting fine sandpaper and roughening up the led to diffuse the light a bit more.

it depends on the type of LEDs you use, and the resistor is more to limit the current (so it doesnt toast the LED). I'm sure it comes with instructions anyways.
