I have a 1996 Ford Taurus I have had it for about 6 months when I first bought it and would get in the interior lights would stay on until I started the car also they would come on and stay on for a minute when you got out of the car now they don't they come on when the door is open and once it is closed they go out. Can anybody tell me how to get it back to the way it was I liked that feature of the car.

is your car alarmed? might have something to do with that..... courtesy lights i think they are called. not up to date on taurus's though. sorry not much help

On the BA you push and hold the interior light switch for 5 seconds. The light will flash once to confirm setting.
