Interior Questions

Hi there,

I have a red ea falcon gl 5 speed manual. My interior is brown. I have put brown fairmont ghia seats in and chocolate coloured carpet. I was just wondering how you guys would go about making it look a little bit better, could i paint anything or do anything to it to make it look wow! DOnt say put a grey interior in please as this is out of the question.

Hope you guys can help.

Re: Interior Questions

grey would look good :-P although tan coloured leather seats with door trims and dash to match would look even better ;-) that way i guess you could keep your chocolate coloured carpet.

Re: Interior Questions

Not sure what to do in that way.
I think any colours other then grey are good (not that i don't like grey :D)

not sure what you could paint really...

Perhaps paint some stuff in a different shade of brown to give it some contrast.

Re: Interior Questions

why not paint some bits light brown and some bits dark brown and have like a 2 tone effect like whats in the EF/EL's with cappachino interiors? id use a matt finish too, glossy would look to weird and yuk.

Re: Interior Questions

paz i said it before and i'll say it again go to pick-a-part and get yourself a grey interior maybe even put a whole ef setup in like i'm setting out to do in the ED
IMO its not worth doing anything with that interior cause if you f*** it up it'll be bloody hard to get same coloured parts

Re: Interior Questions

the problem with a grey interior conversion = expensive.
there are so many small parts that are what adds up when u get interior bits.
deffinately stick with the brown.
if you're painting stuff, its fairly hard to stuff it up :)
just take ya time and mask things right

Re: Interior Questions

thank you, about time someone sees that a interior changeover is not cheap lol. This equals carpet hats allready 170 at least or there abouts, seats, dash it would easily cost up to 1000 and i dont have that sort of money lieing around lol...unless someone wants to give it to me? Anybody.......... lol

Yeah i thort about painint bits because i could get grey bits from the wreckers to paint.. so yea
thanks.... but more opinions are needed.
