65 Fastback

Hi,
In its past, someone attempted to freshen up the paint on the interior side and rear wrap around panels on my 65 Fastback. Well, they look awful. I want to get the "splotchy / blotchy" paint off and repaint. Once removed, can I sand blast the paint off or can you think of a better way to remove the paint?
