Leather Bits

Does Ford have the following available through the spare parts counter?

Leather wrap steering wheel
Leather wrap auto shifter knob
Leather wrap handbrake cover

What colours are they available in?
What models (Ghia etc) did they come off?

Any part numbers if anyone has them would be great

Re: Leather Bits

Sure did.

For the leather wrap steering wheel and t-bar knob. You can pretty much walk straight into a dealer and ask for them.

I see you have a Series 1, so I'm guessing it has the light grey interior.

I'm not particulary sure of the grey part numbers. But you can buy all of those things. You can also purchase he handbrake boot ($30). The handbrake assembly will cost around $180. And around $150 for leather console lid.

Most of the parts would be from a Fairmont Ghia, or Failane/LTD.

Re: Leather Bits

Leather wrap wheel is from an AU 2/3 Fairmont (not Ghia). Its black non perforated leather (i can get a pic if you want). The console lid is also a Fairmont item.

All the rest is Ghia stuff.

Re: Leather Bits

just one thing - the Fairmont wheel in that link above is not a Fairmont one. The Fairmont one is black NON PERFORATED leather.

Re: Leather Bits

I found MOMO leather Blue/Black gear shifter and wheel on e-bay.

Both have been purchased

The shifter has been fitted and looks the goods.
The wheel should be here after Christmas.

All I need now is a MOMO handbrake cover?

You can't get a momo handbrake cover, look above and check my post. You need the Fairmont Ghia one.
