is this legal?

yo, does any one kno if its legal to drive without a dashboard as long as i have the speedometer and warning lites?

As long as you have the wiring, warning lights, speedometer, etc, I don't see why it wouldn't be legal. Nothing in the inspection routines around here involve a dashboard. If it was equipped with airbags, I could see a problem, since they may not deploy properly, but otherwise, try it out and let us know if you get a ticket.

We do, but they don't look to see if you have a dashboard. It's like looking to see if you have carpet in your trunk- pointless.

Not having a dashboard would not increase the risk of hazard unless he had airbags. If anything, it means there's less chance of breaking one's face on the glovebox.
