Re: locked out!

Do you have NRMA RACQ or similar road side assistance?
Local ford dealer??

Do you need to move the car in a hurry?

use a coat hanger to open the door & then fold the back seat down & look for the cable to open the boot with

Re: locked out!

If you can get in the car, the auto boot release on the dash will pop the boot....

Re: locked out!

Yeah, I'd be trying to push the boot release with a coat hanger through the window.

Failing that, there's not much you can do without causing damage.

Re: locked out!

They pry the door open slightly with a piece of metal and slide a bit of blue box strap and pull the lock up. then you open the door and crawl through the split fold seats to the key.

i use a coat hanger bent to shape and slide it down the inside of the door under the seal and pull the door lock up. But my doors aren't sealed great so that helps.

Re: locked out!

Re: locked out!

I too have locked the keys in the boot, and it's not pleasant. Especially when you're late for a flight as i was! If you have exhausted all avenues, then i have a method, but like TIKFD6 i won't post it in a public forum. PM me for further details.
