i tried with the coathanger and it wont reach the boot release from the door pillar and i cant get the hanger through the seals near the mirror so i dunno what else to try.. any other suggestions? surely there is a way to get into it? how would racv do it?
They pry the door open slightly with a piece of metal and slide a bit of blue box strap and pull the lock up. then you open the door and crawl through the split fold seats to the key.
i use a coat hanger bent to shape and slide it down the inside of the door under the seal and pull the door lock up. But my doors aren't sealed great so that helps.
Dan.

Axeman its a bit hard to do it with the flush lock buttons, but it can be done another way, its quite easy acctually.
but im not going to post it on here.
I too have locked the keys in the boot, and it's not pleasant. Especially when you're late for a flight as i was! If you have exhausted all avenues, then i have a method, but like TIKFD6 i won't post it in a public forum. PM me for further details.
if i lock my keys in the boot of my EF, how the hell do i get them out!
i have LPG, so no access through the back seats, and the boot release won't work without keys in
