Hi guys, can anyone give me some possibilities of what might be going on with my AU Futura. When I lock the doors with the remote or the key, the rear drivers side door will not lock. You can hear a clicking noise and a sort of vibration going on in the door. I need to fix this one quickly (preferably myself) Any ideas on probs and costs to rectify? Thanks in advance.

just sounds like the mechanism is jamming up, take off the trim, take out the motor, give it a clean... or maybe its rubbing against something? my rear passenger door does it sometimes, and sometimes it likes me, so it DOES lock and unlock... its just wear and tear on central... even go to a wreckers, they're usually keen to have a look, and offer you a new motor

Does anyone know if the rear door lock guts and solenoid from a series 1 AU is the same as the series 11 or 111? I think I will then get a later model one from thr wreckers. Thanks.

Hi guys, well it looks like I've got to replace the assembly, so I've put an ad in "wanted" but if you know of a good inner door assembly to suit a series 1 drivers side rear door, let me know. Thanks.
