Hey all,
Does anyone know what motors are used in the 86 FE LTD motorised seats? Are they a standard DC motor, or something specialised? I have never seen under my seats (I have only had the car for 1 month). One of the motors has failed and I will be needing to replace it. Wreckers charge WAY to much for items out of the more luxury type cars, especially rarer items like these....

nah, they are just standard 12Volt DC electronic motors. can have a look in workshop manuel if u want?

are you sure that it isnt one of the switches or wiring? best to check with multi meter.
