My KA is leaking inside... from where?

My KA is 2004 and it leaks. After rain, the driver footwell is soaked - not just damp, but you can actually splash the water if you put your foot there. I'm kinda sick of drying it out but I can't see where the water is coming from.

It happens when the car is stationary so it's not coming from underneath.

There is no water/moisture on the dash, steering wheel, seat, inside door, door window or anywhere else - the one place that gets wet (when the windows steam up) is the windscreen. The inside of teh windscreen is soaked all the time - could this be it?

I've felt under the steering wheel area and can't find any source of the water there - and it only happens after rain, so I don't think the heater or windscreen fluid is leaking (as they don't need filling constantly).

My mum had the same problem in her Pug 206, but it was the rear passenger floor well that got soaked - the garage couldn't find the source of it.

Any ideas?
