NF/L Fairlane/LTD door lights?

Can someone please confirm that the NF/NL Fairlane had the door lights? By these i mean the small lights that are either red or white, and are visible when the door is open (theyre on the bottom right hand corner of the trim).

A pic would also be REALLY handy.

They did. As did the fairmont ghia's and possibly fairmonts too. Stock colour was the same colour as the dome light.

Yes they should fit the Futura trim. Still available from Ford in Luna Mist but if you want Capuccino they are discontinued. I wasn't happy when I heard that, I wanted them for my Fairmont too.
Go to Fordmods, there is a doco about fitting them, with pictures.

Re: NF/L Fairlane/LTD door lights?

I am looking at using 1watt LED's.
They throgh out heaps of light and have a flat base so they can be stuck under the door.

Heres a link to them .

http://www1.jaycar.com.au/productResults.asp?FORM=CAT

The cheaper ones have a wider spread.
Im going to wait amonth before i get them, thats when i get staff prices.

Re: NF/L Fairlane/LTD door lights?

I get my prices in 3 weeks.

When you go to that link, select Components in the catagory, then LED-1watt

I checked the spread of light from these 1 Watt LED's, and it is much greater than with a nomal LED, which is very directional.
