I have an AU Fairmont and one of the globes that are used to light up the rear number plate (under/inside) the chrome strip has blown. Would I be able to just go down to Marlows or something and get a new one? I took it out and it seems to go in both ways, even though there there is only a connection/wiring on opposite sides of the globe :( Would that matter?

Check ya owners manual . . . they usually give the specs for any globes in there . . .

Otherwise, drop into your local ford dealer, they'd be able to sell you one easy, you might save $1 or so going to kmart, but if your not sure, save the hassle, and make a note for next time

Generally with the smaller globes, the only thing you need to watch out for is whether their pins are directly opposite, or offset slightly, but if your goes in both ways, your either xtra strong, or they're opposite :)
