Yesterday, unless I have been asleep for a longgg time, the speedo on my EL read 140000 odd klms. Today it is 555555 klms. Now I am damn sure i haven't been sleep driving, I am sure I cannot go that far on a tank of petrol and I haven't seen any strange lights hovering in the sky oeverhead so what is going on.
I assume the odometer is now cactus so is there a fix for this or do I have to get a new cluster??
Any help would be appreciated as I am certain it may have a slight impact on the resale value when I go to sell it !!!

woah thats damn odd...........
it probably wont do anything but have ay tried resetting the ECU?

pull battery + wire for half hour - make sure you know the radio code if you still have the stock radio

Is it in diagnostic mode? There is a setting when it shows all 5's, one for all 8's too.

Failing that a reset should clear it.
