Would anybody be able to tell me where the outside temp sensor is on a BA with climate control.
Is it on bottom of the passenger side mirror?

Looks like some sort sensor,
but a quick glance at it & it looks like a bit of excess plastic not trimmed off after the mirror was removed from the mould.
Is this the outside temp sensor?

On EF/EL models the ambient temp sensor was in the front of the car, in the radiator area. In the middle of the radiator air deflector plastic thingo (to be precise)

You should also have a sunlight sensor in the middle of the dash, up near the windscreen (white thing) :) If you have a dash mat that covers this sensor, the air con won't be as cold as it should be. Found this out the other day after taking the dash mat off.
