Hey guys, not the news you've really been waiting for which is that the side indicators are ready, however just as good news :)

I went to ford today and bought AU3 clear side indicators and orange globes to match. It cost me just under $35 for both sides.

It was SO easy to take off the others and put these ones on, took me around 5 mins all up. So if you can't be stuffed waiting for the proper ones to be made (also they are double the price), go to your local ford dealer and get these :)

Part number for the actual clear indicator is: AU313K309A, then just ask for orange globes to match. Also be sure to remove the rubber seal thing that comes with them before you put them on your car. I also found that if you place the clip in the hole then force the whole thing towards the front of the car they clip in nicely and won't move around.

that doesnt look anywhere near as nice as if you got the NL mould/light. But definatly 10x better than stock orange.

It should fit in GLi's as well because they use the same orange indicator as the Fairmonts in the first place

That does look a lot better than the orange. Have people tried to order the NL indicators from ford? I assume they must not have any in stock...

I agree its a bit funny looking, but depending on how it looks on a GLi/Futura, i'll consider it. $70 is a lot of $$ to spend on 2 piece of clear plastic!
