confused PLEASE HELP electrical prob... no internal lights

hey guys

i would really appreciate any ideas on what could be wrong with the electrics in my ea falcon

i was fitting a radio and i accidentially brushed two wires together - im sure they were the earth and the constant power supply and now i have no power going to the internal lights, internal boot lamp and radio.. the cigarette lighter still works but i have no idea what happened.

i've checked by replacing the fuse(s) that should fix the problem but its no use... is there another fuse box that could fix it? i really need help because not listening to music sucks!!! by the way i have checked that all bulbs in the cabin lights and they work.

please help!!!

Re: PLEASE HELP electrical prob... no internal lights

Do your windsreen wipers work at different speeds?? You might have cooked your central contoller as that controls interior lighting.

You replaced the blue 10Amp fuse marked interior?

Does it keep blowing?

Get a multimeter and check for 12volts on the fuse lug holders.

Cheers Luke.

check each fuse, it would have taken less time to check them than it would have to write that post!

Re: PLEASE HELP electrical prob... no internal lights

just pull out every fuse in the fuse box until you find the one that's blown.....it should be a 10A one for the radio. No there is no other fusebox.
