Power antenna has a mind of its own??

My power antenna goes up when I start the car as usual, but when it is at its height, it will just sit there and click its head off as if it wants to keep going up. This will stop after a while. The same thing happens when the aerial goes down, its just keeps on clicking away. This is a very annoying, especially when you leave the car in the carpark and people just stare at you as if my car is retarded or something. Can anyong help with this problem??

PS. I've got another power aerial in my shed that I hooked up. It does the exactly same thing so its not the aerial playing up is it?
