i just fitted power windows to my eb1 fairmont with regs and switches from an ea ghia
all the wiring was there from factory apart from where ford cut the wire in the door and i replaced the door harness from the ea
now i'm not getting power to work the windows
i have only fitted back so far and i have checked the fuse panel and all switches and can't work out why they arn't working
if anybody has done this conversion and come into this problem please let me know

should the front be installed for the rears to work??
are the relays in the fuse panel diff??
i have the ea still and everything in the fuse panel is identical to my eb
would the wiring to the fuse panel be disconnected behine the fuse panel??

i'd fit the front then see what happens

if ure just fitting std wiring looms and parts and it still doesnt work at least you can be confident that what you put in is OK (maybe).

THEN just trace the live feed back until you find the cause, or put in a new feed and fuse????

Have you also fitted up the switches that go into the rear doors? From memory, if they are not plugged in, then they wont work, even using the switches int he front

mmm..havn't put switches in the back doors
i tried them when the trim was off tho might give it another go
